Touring Guides

Most of the touring guides are online versions of printed brochures and link to dedicated web sites. Some of the examples in this selection make creative use of the interactive functions of an iPad or iPhone.

Enjoy North Norfolk Guide (Free – iPad, iPhone, Android)
This is a “handpicked” guide to North Norfolk and its coastline. The map view indicates places to sleep, eat and shop, with a thumbs up icon for recommended choices. You can also browse activities and attractions by town, view a What’s On guide, and even send a postcard home.

A Tour of the Norfolk Broads (Free – iPad, iPhone)
This unusual project is a gallery of digital paintings, based on photographs of iconic views around the Norfolk Broads. You can explore the gallery using Google Maps or create a personalised “treasure hunt” by looking for the locations where the pictures were taken. You can use your smart phone or tablet to help find the exact spots, referencing your present location (a green marker) and the picture’s location (a red marker).
